I call very few people "friend", but I have a few acquaintances. I'd like to have more close friends, but I have issues with trusting others. I'd say that's my biggest problem. I tend to wonder what people are after most times.

I can at times be abraisive, and I generally speak my mind about what I see if I'm asked. Usually, though, I just won't say anything at all if I can't say anything nice. LOL Mom taught me well, I guess.

I go to the gym every day and work out. If I can't make it to the gym, I work out at home. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I take my health seriously. I don't want to be one of those women who look used up by 40.

I was born in Chicago, and I miss living there close to my family. I may move back someday. There's no place like home.

I'm black, Irish and Cherokee. I'm 5'10" tall. I have fair, olive-toned skin, warm brown eyes and fine dark hair. Yes I perm, yes I use "fony ponies" and wigs sometimes, but not those nasty looking dread falls. NO I don't wear weaves because they make my scalp feel dry and gross. No, I don't use ebonics or walk around dressed from head to toe in tacky logos no matter how couture it's supposed to be.

I like Gothic, Aristocrat, some Lolita, and pretty much any fashion that's elegant and simple with clean lines and classic colors. Though I like Lolita, you won't ever see me dressed head to toe in ruffles or babydoll dresses. I know what looks good on me! And what doesn't...

I like anime, manga, sci-fi, cons, cosplay, rpgs and other "geeky" stuff. I finally broke down and bought a PS2 and have made it up to owning 2 whole games now! Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, and Final Fantasy X2.

I love sushi and ume onigiri. I like raw celery and fresh snow peas for snacks! I like almost all types of music. I have a curiosity about j-pop and j-rock but I don't want to go buy CDs if I'm not sure I'll like it. Anybody wanna burn a few tracks for me? I'll pay you for the disc... Interests in Gackt, Malice Mizer, and Dir en Grey. Those are the ones I hear the most raves about.

I try not to swear too often, because I think that foul language only serves to make the speaker sound ignorant. I prefer to express myself in a better way, but sometimes, I slip when I'm very angry about something. Nobody's perfect.

I attempt to display confidence, intelligence and elegance in all things. I am old fashioned in my belief that a woman should be a lady imbued with grace, education and intelligence. Physical beauty is of secondary importance, but a woman should do all she can with what she has, and always look well groomed, healthy and neat.

You can never be too rich or too thin!
